How many speed sensors are there on the transmission? Is the main shaft speed sensor you are talking about located by them selenoids facing the radiators sides or is it behind and next to the transmission dip pole. Any examples on how the main shaft sensor? Not very farmiliar with the automotive terms.

RE: Honda civic Engine light Code Help
in all theres about 5 speed sensors depending on the trans you have ebay has a manual for like 10 bucks its on cd with tons of pictures and test procedures with pictures
id start there and then try to DIY then at least we will have the same referance material to work frombutt the mainshaft sensor is behind the radiator closest to engine on the tranny

RE: Honda civic Engine light Code Help
Update on current situation. Went and bought the main shaft speed sensor and linear selenoid. Flush out the transmission fluid and fill in new ones. As a result, the car had more power once the car is in motion. Even the Engine light went out also. Then everything changed. The next day, engine light came back on with the same engine code problem and the car start experiencing the same hesitation during acceleration. As of now, the car also rolls back on hills eventhough the caris still on drive. Could it be that my auto transmission is screw or is it electrical problem? Need help!
