Default Ignition immobilizer

I have a 2002 Honda CRV with a new ignition switch and keys it's a parts car. I have a 2004 CRV with only the valet key.

My question is can I take the 2002 ignition switch assembly out and install it in the 2004, will the immobilizer or 04 CRV's ECU have to be reprogrammed or will it be a simple plug and play?

Thanks for any input in advance

Jay

Welcome in,I would check with your Honda parts house to see if they are interchangeable, they can tell you before you go to the trouble of taking them apart.
