Default Seat Problem with 2016 CRV-EX

My CRV has power seat adjustments but not a memory function. So often if I get in or out and have sat too close the edge of the seat above the controls the seat back pushes to the most upright position. The dealership was not able to duplicate the problem, nor was I when I brought the car for service.

It is so annoying to have to readjust the seat almost every time I enter the car.

Anyone else had the problem and have a solution?

wecome to the forum. I don't have a crv nor have heard of this problem, but document when it happens date and time. and continue to complain about this. also give them a copy of the documentation of date and time of each occurance. this is the only way to get them to fix the problem.. also if you want, you may try another dealership service dept, or write to American honda and explain the problem.
Be sure to document everytime this happens as far back as possible.

I am having the same seat problem with my brand new 2016 CRV EX! The dealership has seen it happen, but still can't fix it. I just opened a case file at American Honda today!

Default Scout, was your problem ever fixed?

And if so, how? Everyone at my Atlanta dealership tells me they've never seen this problem before, and the case manager at American Honda said the same, so I'd like to hear more about your experience.

As I have only 5K on my car I haven't brought it in for service again. I will be taking it to another dealership.

I notice it's my body weight as I get in or out that triggers it. (I'm average - besides; men drive CRVs)
