Brakes stop car then get soft
Hello everyone. I appreciate your advice.
I have a 1995 Accord, and I've noticed something new with brakes in last week. I apply the brakes fully (pedal fully depressed) and the car does stop, but after a moment the car will start to roll forward slowly although my foot hasn't changed position (brake still depressed). Then it feels like the brake pedal softens and I am able to press the brake further towards the floor, and car will stop again. This cycle usually takes three times to keep the car stopped completely at a traffic light on a flat surface. I'm worried about rolling into traffic or having problem get worse and not being able to stop! Should I be thinking about master cylinder replacement? Is this an easy job?
Thanks very much!

welcome to the forum. your master cylinder is leaking internally. have it replaced real soon. easy job if you know what your doing or have a service manual. bleeding may need 2 people unless you have a bleed pot. until then keep a good distance when stopping.
