welcome to the forum. not enough info on the civic and equip it has. but the 1st overhaul here is about 500 or less. value of civic is about 1/2. If you go to Kelly blue book or Nada .com you will find the prices of the new civic.

 

I can tell you that the value in the United States is not $40k!
