Old(er) hot rodder building his first Import (1999 Civic)
Hello alll.
I'm an old(er) hot rodder who has owned several mid 70's to early 80's RWD American cars that were modded.
During that time, I've had three Honda for reliable transportation. The first was a 1977 Honda CVCC. Completely stock with the Hondamatic transmission. It was my sisters car, but she let me drive it when my 302 Ford Maverick was being worked on. My second was a 91 Civic that my sister bought new and I eventually bought from her. My current is a 99 Civic that I've owned for 6 years.
The 99 has been abused. I'm about to replace the tranny; originally a 5-speed, now only a 3-speed (1st, 2nd, 5th.) This is the first Import I've ever worked on besides general maintenance.
I won't be able to contribute much help, I'll have lots of questions though.

Welcome to the forum, we are glad to have you as a part of our community. Sounds as if you have a real project ahead, can't wait to read your build thread! Some nice cars you have had in the past by the way, make sure to share some pictures when you can.
