odyssey starter problem
Howdy all,
I have a 2007 odyssey ex-l with 196,000 miles on it and these past 13 months have kinda sucked with this vehicle. I am now faced with having to replace the starter which is really the only part that hasn't been replaced. I am confident that I can do this but am unsure of just how tough it will be to get the two starter bolts off. This is the original starter and I am wondering if the bolts are stuck tight if it would be okay to use an impact wrench to break them free and then go back to regular hand tools as I reassemble everything? I don't want to damage anything but I know from watching several youtube videos that there is not a lot of room to get a breaker bar in there so if I can work some air tools in there I would prefer to make this as easy as possible. Any advice would be appreciated.

as easy as possible would be to send it to a shop to have it done, they have the tools and can error as well as anyone else. You can do it provided the bolts are not frozen in there so its taking that chance anyone including the shop will have to think about.
