2001 Accord cd player problem
 

I am having a problem, just out of the blue. I started my car, then the cd player stays on for about 20 seconds and makes a click - click noise. It then turns off and I am not able to listen to radio or eject or put a cd in the player. I don't know what happened. Anyone know or have any ideas? It does the same thing every day I start the car up.

It is a Honda Accord 2001 EX Coupe
6-disc factory cd player with tape deck.

I had this same problem with my 2002 accord. It kept making the clicking noise. I took it to the dealership and they had asked me if I had put any burnt cds in there or ones with stickers. I had no idea what caused it but they had to ship it off to the factory to get the whole stereo rebuilt. I don't know if u you got this fixed, but mine seems to be working ok now. Did you have to pay for the rebuilt cd player, or did you get a free one in return from the company after you had the problem?
Mine still is not working properly.
