Default 2008 honda xr650l

Need advice? I am thinking about changing my sprockets from 14/45 to 14/48. If anyone is currently running this set up, i would like your opinion of it? I ride primarily dirt/sand silt here in FT Irwin CA. I commute to work a few miles a day and wonder what is the top comfortable speed of this set up?
