Can someone tell me what this might be? I crank my car and back out of the garage. I don't have A/C or fan on. I put into gear and I drive 20 yards or so. Doors lock. Soon thereafter there is a strange noise emanating from the front more toward the passenger side that sounds like an electrical something engaging. It is like a spring unwounding. It is subtle. If I had radio on, I wouldn't hear it. It does it every time I start in the morning and usually does it when I have had car parked a while. It does not do it when I stop briefly or at traffic stops.


I took it by the dealer and they thought it might the electric fans but they sounded normal when tested. We couldn't get the sound to sound after repeated attempts. But I know it will do it again tomorrow morning.


Any ideas?

 

If you here it at low speeds,try having someone lean out the window to see if they can here it,may be an issue with the wheel,or brakes.
