Default 2006 Rear Brake MM when new?

Anybody know how many mm are on new rear brake pads on a 2006 CRV?

I ask because last summer I was told my rear pads were at 4 mm and I should replace. I did. That was the first replacement ever, at 85k! When I went back 6 months later, the inspection sheet said my rear brakes have only 5 mm! That didn't sound right. When I pointed it out to the technician he appeared confused (like me), then quickly said, "Well, rear brakes don't have as much as front."

So I'm wondering if they changed them at all, or did they even need to be changed if 5 mm is new? It seems like 1 mm would be within the margin of error for a careless tech, and that they may have almost exactly the same amount on both inspections.

welcome to the forum. 11mm front 8mm rear per honda. change at approx 1.6 mm. sorry about the crickets, i don't have a computer to use at home, still in the dark ages. if honda changed the pads, you will know it looking at the bill. you can also request the info from the service dept. they have a copy.
