1997 CRV FI E/M fuse keeps blowing, cr won't start
Wifes CRV was putting out 18 volts, planned to change the alternator but before I had a chnce she need to drive it and it quit on her... Just before dying: wipers, fan blower & blinkers starter working without command, the car died and she pulled off to the side of the road. The battery was smoking a little.
Now, it won't start. The wipers and blower motor work when selected. There is no spark on the plugs and the FI E/M fuse keeps blowing. Note, the mesh looking connector on the exhaust just under the front door is 1/2 disintegrated (this exhaust problem has existed for about a week and was planned to be fixed tomorrow). Before replacing the alternator, I need to figure out how to solve the FI E/M fuse issue, please help! |
No ideas anyone??
