Question 1998 honda crv

I have a 98 crv. It is having major problems starting. I have replaced the fuel pump twice, checked for leaks in the line, replaced the coolant temperature sensor and starter. Once it starts it runs fine. Even if its turned off for 10 minutes it is hard to start. Is there a pump regulator or a vacuum regulator? Any advice on what to check next?

welcome to the forum. do a compression check to see if you have low compression. are your spark plugs and wires in good condition. when did you last tune up the crv. check you ignition coil, it may have burn marks or overheated discoloring.

and i read somewhere that the weather could affect it too...if its too cold the engine wont start well cuz the oil becomes thick and the battery becomes ineffective. Whats the weather like where you live?

Hoping this is a gas engine??
Check fuel pressure when first turning the key to the ON position
Or listen for the fuel pump to prime the fuel rail
Then check to see if there is fuel pressure at the rail by loosening one of the connections
How much wants to come out would indicate high, low, or no pressure
Check for spark, check to see if the spark plugs are fouled
Check power and grounds to the coils
