Our 99 CR-V has starting issues. It would run nice then stall and maybe start back up or maybe crank funny and not start.
We changed the fuel filter and the crank sensor and it wiuld start and run 20 minutes then stall. This was consistent.
. We had a new distributor cap and rotor so we installed them, it started and ran about 30 seconds and quit. It wouldn't start after that.
Our next step was to install a rebuilt distributor. It ran great for 2 days then quit , started back up and ran another 5 minutes then quit. We had to tow it to the shop.. it is getting fuel but in all crank but no start situations it has no crank/ rpm signal.
