2007 CRV Air Conditioning Issue

Hi All

Hope someone can help me with this issue. We have a 2007 CRV with 75k miles. Had the air conditioning compressor replaced in the past year. It works fine when we are driving along the road. But as soon as we stop for traffic, the air temp seems getting considerably warmer - not hot - but not cold like when we drive. Any ideas what may be the issue?

Thanks for your help Bruce

Is their a switch, sensor or relay that controls the fan that I can check? I looked on the parts diagram but do not see one shown.

Thanks Bruce

Can you apply power and ground to the fan to see if it turns on?
Usually, putting the AC on should turn on both fans on the radiator.
Do the fans turn on?

You can jump the fan with a battery charger. If it doesn't come on it is bad.

I would not recommend putting a charger on anything electrical on the car while the engine is running
There is a possibility that it can screw up the electrical system if hooked up wrong
Or to disconnect the fan (electrically) from the car and then try the charger.

Another thing to do is to inspect the condenser to see if there is any debris blocking air flow.
