Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum. I searched for other threads regarding leaking rear diffs but couldn't find any. We brought our 2009 CRV w/ 70k miles in for an airbag replacement. They called and said our rear diff is leaking and it would be $700 to fix.

Can this be correct? We have never had an issue with the diff during any previous service. I know the fluid needs to be changed regularly but $700? to replace the gaskets I assume? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
