2012 oil leak
 

Hello, I purchase a 2012 CR V EXL a year ago, checked it out pretty good and paid way too much for it but it only had 85000 on it. Anyway, I failed to have them lift it so I could look underneath, (my Bad). I noticed oil spots in the drive, removed all the cowling and it was cover in oil and dirt, also oil all over ever thing underneath. I look more to see if it was the CV joint were it entered the trans, though it had a drop on oil on it and the CV boot was covered with oil and dirt. I cleaned it up but I do not see if it is leaking from there. Above it is an electrical plug attached to a component in the engine, it may be coming from there but I have search the internet and cannot find what it is, if there anyone that has had a leak at that location and found the cause or know that that plug is, by the way it is the drivers side US. Take it to the car wash and spray it clean and see if you can find it.
