Hi, I am new to the forum. I am hoping to purchase a 2016 or 2017 Honda CR-V this month. I would like to know 1. Is it true that the 2016 has problems with the touchscreen on all models except the LX, and 2. Does anyone know where I can get safety information on the CR-V? It seems to not have been published yet on the regular websites (consumer reports, nhtsa, iihs.org...)
If not, does anyone know when this information will be published? I am assuming that the results will be good, but I just want to see it for myself before I purchase. Thanks!

 

I just purchased a 2016 CRV SE because I received a great deal along with .9% financing. I was told the 2017's are not included in the special financing. I also couldn't find any information on the safety of the 2017's. However, I do know the 2016 is an IIHS top safety pick plus.
