2017 Touring CRV - A/C
We fell in love with the 2017 Touring CR-V. We think it is the best fit for us, but when we rest drove it, we were disappointed in the air conditioning. We live in a southern state, and the a/c was adequate, but not spectacular. I have a Nissan Versa, and the a/c freezes us out in a matter of minutes. We test drove a Rogue and a Rav in 96 degree heat and it was never a question - it cooled instantly in the cabin.
Is this common for all CR-Vs, or did we drive a clunker?
Thank you!

My 2015 CRV A/C is good, but not great...takes a few minutes to reach max cooling efficiency, so maybe it's the design...Most recently (2 weeks ago) we were in Asheville NC, and it was high 80's. Noticed the same issue, so fresh in mind.

I am in South Carolina and just purchased a 2017 CR-V EX last week. I would check to make sure the auto climate control is off when you initially get in the vehicle. I have found that adjusting the fan manually when we first get in the CR-V helps cool faster then turn it back to automatic climate control. We have been Kia and Ford owners for the last 18 years and we will be a Honda family from this point forward. The CR-V is awesome.
