On a 2019 Honda CR-V, if the passenger seat is empty, should the Passenger Airbag-Off Indicator light up?

The user manual says it will light up if the passenger weight is less than 65 pounds, so I assume this means it lights up(amber) when there is no passenger as well?

 

welcome to the forum. Yes. my 07 Fit, 16 Hr-v, light on if 65# and under. sometimes i would put a black tape on my 07 fit light due to driving at night and i like it dark in the cab.

 

On my 2007 CRV, it lights up when first starting the engine
Then it turns itself off

 

It is normal don't worry :/
