Had this 1 week, how do I set the auto lock to set when I walk away after closing the back hatch? Auto lock works with the doors when I walk away, but not if I open and close the back lid.

I don't think it is designed to do that. The small button to the right of the button to open the hatch will lock everything if you press it after the hatch is closed.
