2022 Honda CR-V Recommendation for Fuel Induction System (?)
Hello all!
Today, I took my Honda CR-V with 27,000 miles in for routine maintenance. The mechanic recommended that I have a fuel induction system called M8: Fuel Induction put in.. I was wondering why this was recommended? Can anyone explain what this is and where to figure this out? I did not put it in, I wanted to do some research in advance.

Going to have to ASSUME you have a 1.5T so response is based on lack of information.
Never heard of “M8” however it is likely similar to a BG product. Along that line, at 27,000 mi, unless you are having issues ( none given) you are being bagged along with the fact that no Honda dealer should be talking about non OEM parts (they are probably not, you just interpolated).
This appears to be an upsell attempt to do a deep dive into your wallet especially if they are in reality talking about a chemical cleaning.
Soooo, if all the assumptions are correct and your V is running well, I suggest you run only top tier type gas and MAYBE dump a bottle of Techron in your tank on the next fill up.
YMMV
