Default 2024 EX-L horn replacement

Has anyone replaced the pathetic stock horn on this car? Recommended upgrade? And where exactly is the horn mounted? Thanks for any and all assistance.

This place sells horns and connectors so you do not have to hack into your harness.

Buy the loudest horn you can find at Advanced Auto Parts, Napa, or O’Reily if you wish and get the adapter here. Or order their horn. Call them if you are unsure what to order.
You can add the Low and High Horn I think are sure to get peoples attention.

I'd forgotten about College Hills. Thanks for the reminder.

I ordered the kit from College Hills. It should be a definite improvement and no question it is made for the car and fits properly.

Great, keep me posted on how it turns out. I went to autozone and got a 10ft piece of the black 3/8” wire loom with slit down the middle to cover the wire from the horn on the right across to the left side of the radiator of left horn and secured with black wire ties.
Really only need to run one wire as the ground from the horn connector is connected to the chassis

Like this:

1/4” would suffice

I had the second horn added a few days ago. MAJOR improvement. Honda should be ashamed putting the car on the road with just the one. The College Hills kit is very good. Doesn't include zip ties but everything else is there.

Glad you got it working like you want it. It is not just Honda but all Asian owned/and or built cars. My Hyundai Elantra limited was the same way. Replaced the horn on it also before I traded it in on my 2024 Honda CR-V EX. They are pathetic mini-mouse horns aren't they?

How much did it cost to have installed?

A friend did it for a dozen hot Shipley donuts. I imagine a shop would charge 0.5-1.0 hour labor. It is really easy to do with a minimum of tools and effort though, for anyone at all mechanically inclined. Remove 6 clips and the plastic cover and the existing horn is right there on top on the driver's side. The new one goes on the passenger side. One bolt and clip in the new wiring harness.
