2024 Hybrid highway rpm

Anybody got a number for engine RPM going down the highway, locked up on the high clutch, at say 70MPH, give or take?

A very interesting question where the answer is it depends. My ‘22 is a single gear so it revs a bit higher however it also goes into electric assist sooner.

Your dual gear is going to go into high gear at about 45-50 mph at which point your ICE will power the vehicle unless there is a demand for more power. At that point your ICE rpm will drop slightly when the electric horses jump in. That is what makes your answer inconsistent.

Keep in mind that your HP rating is at 6000 rpm.

Your selection of Sport or Economy mode will also have an effect on the outcome.

Considering a final drive of 5.+ I would estimate that @ 70 mph speed would need about 3000 rpm if you are in ICE only.

You can select the power distribution display on your cluster so you will know what is powering what and which wheels on the 4WD.

I do not have a tach but if I plug a scan gauge into the OBDII I would think I would get an rpm reading from the ECM.

Sorry for the long winded non-answer.
