99 crv keeps popping main fuse
Got a problem with my 99 crv 4wd so I was driving and suddenly lost power and could not get it out of park and then I noticed I blew my main fuse so I put a new one in and connected my positive and it started arking and melting my terminal 10 mins before that I put belt conditioner could the conditioner somehow shorted my alternator causing to blow the main fuse

Yes, it is possible.
Disconnect the alternator and put in new fuses |
Rather than take a chance on destroying a new fuse measure the resistance on that line before disconnecting the alt. Do you have a short?
Disconnect the alt. Is the short gone? If so the alt needs replacing. |
Problem was solved i disconnected the alternator and i now have power
