Auto trans is sure with 1&2 and reverse
 

The past couple of days my wife said that when she's gives it gas after she's stopped it wants to not go in second, (intermittently). This morning taking my son to school she said that she was warming it up as usual, went to put it into reverse and it didn't want to go for a few seconds she said. Eventually it worked, and at the end of the driveway she forgot to get something so she turned around and it did it again. I know my older hondas. I have a 93 honda accord manual. But our other car is a 05 honda cr-v automatic trans with roughly185,000 miles on it. She's been great until this trans issue. From what I gather, the trannys are solid in these vehicles. Just the valves and electronic components are the main issue. I read about the shift valves on the tranny. (Linear and some other one that are known issues with the crvs, but from what I see it's just the drive gears. Is there a separate one for reverse? Or is it built into the 2 problematic ones?
