Default cargo box for 2014 CRV

I need help finding a rooftop cargo carrier (think Thule Force XT). i have a 2014 CRV and I want to get a cargo box. However every brand i look at the length is either too short and wont sit on the crossbars (Thule Sidekick at 54 inches long) or too long (Thule Force XT 74.75 inches) and impacts the stupid roof antenna just in front of the back hatch opening. Some genius at Honda decided to do away with the adjustable roof rack and now the crossbars are in a fixed location and they are too far back on the roof.

I would really appreciate any information.

this is the Force XT 74.75 inches

rear crossrail, note closeness to the antenna

On some vehicles, roof rails or roof racks sit along the length of the vehicle. Then adjustable crossbars are mounted to add support to stuff needing to be mounted like a cargo box. Looks like you have side rails already. But, the cross bars are mounted in a poor position for cargo boxes. You would need to know if you can move those crossbars to the position that you need. Or get a crossbar that you can also mount in a better position. Good luck with this.

Get a shark fin antenna. It will remedy your issue with the cargo box being in contact with it. They are relatively cheap and easy to install. Have you tried any of the Yakima cargo boxes? They are well made too. You can't go wrong with either brand.
