From time to time my CRV looses all power when driving. The headunit goes off the dash goes dark and the steering goes heavy all for a few seconds. When it powers back up the dash board looks like this

 

welcome to the forum. is the detector area clean, you may be having a failure of the CTBA sys.

 

Thanks for the reply the car doesn't have CTBA fitted.

 

You have the "check CTBA" on your dash and you say it does not have it????
The CTBA is a low speed braking system to help prevent hitting the car in front of you.
It can disable power from the engine. But, it isn't on your vehicle???

 

Have you checked the health of the battery and the connections?
