Default CR-V Radio

Good Morning,

After changing my battery, the radio in my 2004 CR-V does not work. When i initially turn it on it says "CODE". But when I press a selection, or input a CD, it spells out ERR. When i looked in the manual it said "if you see ERRtake thecar to the dealership." Can someone please help!!

Thanks for your time.

You will need to contact the dealership, tell them the model number and serial for that radio. They should have a code or procedure for you to follow for re-activation. It's a hassle but is also great for anti-theft.

if you purchased your vehicle new, the dealer gave a bag of books, owners manuel, item locations, and a tag with the radio code. you may still have it in your pack of goodies. also the owners manuel may have an instructions on how to get the radio back on
