RE: CRV Price
view the kbb.com, and edmunds.com, the invoice sticker is shown. If you were a car sales, or lot man, or have cash in hand/ck/cashiers ck, then you can go invoice + 500 +tax and licenses, and know exactly what you want and not needed. If you have seen the vehicle, test drove the vehicle and the color is right, and you are happy with what you see, then offer them the price you want to pay. The only thing that they can say is no. I have done some of my purchases over the phone with the internet dept. and when I got down to the office, 1hr 10 min, I was able to walk out with the car I wanted. The internet person and computer and talking, took the most time. Most times you will not walk out of the sales dept for 3-5 hrs.

RE: CRV Price
We just bought ours 2 days ago. 2008 Honda CRV EX. Got it at invoice $22,500, because I belong to BJ's Wholesale, which has an auto club. The auto club negotiated invoice. Was quoted same price for Mass Buying Power (Massachusetts), and over the internet. So all around, believe I was getting invoice.
Then, the dealer threw in Roof Rack with it. So Honda CRV EX model with roof rack, $22,500. I don't know if anyone out there beat that?
CRV has no incentives. But does have holdback of 2% of MSRP. So the dealer is making at least $490.
We traded at 1998 Lincoln Continental (Fully Loaded) for $1000. Be careful with trading using KBB, the dealerships are now using, Galves. I believe it is because KBB is free, and Galves has a fee. The perception is that more people will default to the free information, and not spend the money for the Galves membership.
Hope this helps.
