Question Dashboard Vents Question

I am on my second CR-V-1, has a 2003, now own a 2016. I am familiar with the way the different vent arrangements work, but am confused by how they are working on the new one. After I see the heater is blowing hot air I like to set it on dash & foot well. what I am noticing is that no mater what the fan setting is the middle dash vents just barely trickle out air. I can feel it is warm but there is no force to it. The outer dash vents do seem to have some force to the air coming out. I am concerned that something is wrong on the control of which vents are open, but before a trip to the dealer I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

Thanks

Tony

We just bought a 2016 CRV EX-L about 9 days ago. Only airflow issue we have noticed is that the back vents seem to not push any hot or cold air thru them. Have you checked the open/closed valves to make sure that they are open, can't remember if they are on the outboard ones or the inboard ones?

Not sure what you mean by open.shut valve. I know the outside vents have a wheel that can close them. The middle vents don't. I believe to close them you push the vent all the way down.
