electrical problem with 2006 CR-V

I had extensive engine work done a few days ago and during the repair they disconnected the battery. Had to reconfigure the radio but that was no problem with the help of Youtube. BUT....I have now noticed several features of my remote/keyless entry no longer working. (1) The second click of the lock button no longer makes the horn honk......and (2) the red button on my key no longer activates the horn/alarm.....even though the horn still works. (3) Also, the activation of the dome light with the unlock and deactivation with the lock no longer works.....but, again.....the basic lock/unlock function of the remote key still work.

could it just be fuse(s) ??.....the ones under the dash or the ones under the hood ??....or could it be something more nefarious ??

looking forward to your sage responses

welcome to the forum Happy New Year. wondering if you looked up the maker of the fob to find information for a reset. Also would a owners manual have instructions to reset everything needed. does not hurt to check all the fuses and relays, but battery disconnect sometimes takes a few good runs for everything to reset. some ecu's also have a reset.

what's an ecu ??

ECU= engine control unit
Sometimes also called ECM (m for module)

In the early days, it was called the brain box
Controls spark, injector pulse and monitors systems

to reset the ecu, pull the fuse and reinstall. either under the hood on the drivers side or in the cabin left side of the drivers knee. kick panel.
