Is an extended warranty worth it or needed?

Hi, I am new here and am looking forward to learn more about my new to me Honda CR-V 2018 LX-E. We just purchase this care yesterday with 37 000 miles and were offered a 7 year up to 150 000 miles bumper to bumper warranty $1863.
At the moment I am tempted to accept it because I am thinking if anything goes wrong with the electronics, it can be a very high ticket item.
The dealer also has already included, a power train warranty for 20 years or 200 000 miles, whichever comes first.
They are incredibly reputable, and friends here in Montana easily travel 100 miles to have their car from them, especially since their used car prices are very very reasonable.
Please let me know since I have very litte experience with electronics in cars. Is this a good idea, or am I too negative thinking something will go wrong.
I appreciate your input.
Than you very much

Question has been made several times and answered.
It is up to you to decide.
You must weigh things like your skill in diagnosing and fixing cars.
If you are skilled then a warranty would be less likely to help you.
If your vehicle has a tendency to need work done then would be good to have a warranty to cover repairs
Also, there are many different types of warranties
Make sure you know what you are paying for
You don't want to make a claim for struts only to have insurance reject the claim
Most people believe Honda is a good brand and the vehicles last.
And their re-sale value seems to reflect this

For me, I get roadside assistance. This way if the vehicle breaks down I can get it home.
At home, I tend to do a lot of work on my own cars.
So, I don't want a warranty especially on these older cars I tend to buy.
If this was a Range Rover or Land Rover then I would get the warranty since I know they tend to break down
Toyota and Honda cars tend to last a bit longer.

So this wasn't much help.
Sorry.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I appreciate it.
We are not new to Honda vehicles and trust that they last. What we are not familiar with are the computerized stuff, which, when and if it breaks down, probably costs a pretty penny.
