Anyone had trouble with your CR V air conditioner? My dealer said it might be covered under a "warranty". Mine is a 1999. I would be curious just what this "warranty" is.

take it to the dealer and they can tell you if it is covered or not. warranty is normally 36months or 36k some thing close to this

 

I have a 2003. Second owner. In August 2007 my a/c quit cooling. @ 55,000 miles. Out of warranty. Honda Dealer gave quote me a $3-3,500. I threw a FIT. I have never had to replace every part in a a/c system @ 50K miles. I called Honda and looked on the net. They (Honda) knew they had a batch of bad compressors. The dealer offered parts, I told them to go back. I would not pay a dime. I called Honda Corp. and was nice. They ended up paying the entire bill.

However on a 1999, it is 11 years old. I doubt you will get any help.
