Default I Urgently need help

When I bought my 1998 Honda CR-V, I noticed that the gear sensor light blinks when it's on D4, I kept driving it not knowing what the problem was, but now the gear doesn't engage again. The car can't move forward again. My mechanics don't seem to know what to do. Please help me out if you have experienced something similar before and what you did to resolve it. Thanks

The blinking "D" is a tranny issue.
Usually it is either oil pressure sensor or switch
Search youtube (Honda blinking d light) to get a better understanding
Now, the tranny doesn't want to move?
Well, guess should have looked into it when it was blinking
Now, it could just be the switch or could be the tranny has failed???

My nephew had this issue with the blinking d.
So, we did a drain and fill (twice) of the tranny fluid using genuine Honda dw-1 atf.
It has been two weeks now and has not returned (yet).
