new 2018 CRV Touring 2WD
 

Hello...just joined this forum. Hope to be active and positive here.

I'm on other forums for my other vehicles - Audi A4, Corvette C7.
So, I'm familiar with the drill.

I'm Picking up a 2018 CRV next Friday.
Already worked with dealer to swap out the OEM tires for better tires after a search on Tirerack.
I'm kind of a tire nut and The OEMs don't fare well at Tirerack.
I'm in the south and don't have to worry about harsh winters - more interested in rain and stronger performance.

Have always been curious about engine mods and chipping.
I know there are warranty issues that can argue against such things.

Would like to know various sources and vendors to go to to investigate this idea.
I'm sure there are ways to boost the hp and torque of the turbo engine on a mild basis.

Last, how does everyone like the CVT transmission?
This will be my first experience with a CVT.

welcome to the forum, we have an hr-v with cvt, we like it just had to get used to the engine noise on acceleration. milage is good.

MTaxter, what tires did you get?

For performance, get a Ktuner v2 and do the dual tune.

Sumitomo HTR A/S PO 2 from Tirerack… their warehouse in GA is just 35 miles from me...easy pick up...great installer locally in SAV.
