Hello all, I'm new here and a new Honda owner. A little background, I have been driving a 2003 Dodge Neon(I know...) for the last 11 years or so. It finally died on me and I found a nice 2000 CR-V. I have always liked the way they look and heard nothing but good things.

Picked it up on Friday, good deal, 132k miles on it. I don't drive for work at all so this is more of a fun vehicle.

What I want to ask is, are there any common issues I should be aware of with these? I am not really a care guy so I don't know too much.

This one I bought is very clean, and runs very well. So far at least. I always maintain my car with fluids and oil changes so I hope this Honda will last me 200k miles and more.

Any hints and tips would be great.

welcome to the forum. Trans fluid if auto, use honda fluid only nothing else or youll have trans problems. rotate tires each 5k, some hondas have a mild out of alighnment and rotating the tires keep all the tires wearing ok. if your car has an oil life indicator, change it at 20% or each 5k miles. (easier to remember) Enjoy your ride.
