is oil usually drained as part of CR-V Driveshaft Replacement?
 

I recently had to have the driveshaft in my 2014 CR-V (had it done at the dealership)
3 weeks later I discovered that there was absolutely NO OIL in my car when the low oil pressure light started coming on for a few seconds and I heard a some grinding.
Dealership is denying this is there fault, but there are zero signs of any leak and oil was at 40% life at the time.

The tech swears that they did not change the oil as part of this procedure (technically this is true if they only drained it).

Does anyone know for sure what the official Honda procedure is for a CRV driveshaft change involves?
My google searches seem to imply that you drain the oil, as part of this, but I have no idea.

Dealership put in new oil and wants me to come back in 1000 miles to see if there is normal consumption. .
Honestly, I’m convinced they drained my oil and forgot to replace it.

Engine oil is not part of driveshaft work.

welcome to the forum. agree with 3illmesmart, engine oil is not drained to repair drive shaft. your engine oil needs to be checked a periodical times due to oil life is in the range of 7500 miles. older cars oil change use to be at 3k miles.
