Oldest and/or most miles?
I have a 2000 Honda CRV that has just over 200K miles. I bought it used in 2005 with mileage at 52K. I've had to make repairs here and there, but overall, not too many. A couple years ago I replaced the head gasket and had a valve job. I'm wondering how many years/miles I will get out of my CRV, which I will keep until the day I die if possible. From 2005 to 2011, I drove 70 miles per day (round trip) for work; since 2011, I drive 8 miles per day (round trip) to and from the train station. So, my car is not getting the work out it used to. Yesterday I had the 02 sensor replaced, tune-up, fuel filter, front/rear sway bars, and front brakes for $600. Not too bad. I hear stories of Honda owners with 300K+ on their cars. I'm wondering if its true.

CRV Longevity
Our family 2005 CRV turned 352000km (219000m) a couple weeks ago, and promptly jumped out of time due to chain failure or something similar. Other than routine maintenance we had to replace the crank seal a few months back. I suspect my daughter ran it dangerously low on oil at some point - no doubt hastening its demise.Currently swapping in a motor and tranny from a 2006 donor that was in a wreck. In retrospect my only complaint is that I feel it could and should get better fuel mileage.

My CR-V only has 178k, but I am constantly hearing stories of CR-Vs going well post 300k. That's part of why I bought the car. In my experience though, when I was looking for a car, I test drove one with 225k, and one with 280k (the ad had said it only had 180). Both drove fine, and gave me no issues. Granted, I only drove each for about 5 minutes, but I was looking for problems, and didn't find any on either car.
