Orange peel effect on 2018
Today I put a down payment on a blue 2018 CRV EX. I asked to see it. They brought it to me about an hour later. The paint is awful on the sides. It’s glossy but it has the look of orange peel all along the sides. It’s from the drivers door to the back. This is a made in Canada car. There were several other CRV s on the lot with the same ugly finish. Just wondering if this is common on the made in Canada CRVs? I have definitely rejected that car. The dealer will try and locate another one. Anyone have this issue with their CRV? |
welcome to the forum. no i don't know of anyone having orange peel paint on their cr-v but you did the right thing. make sure you get the correct smooth paint on your car.

Not on my car or those I saw in the showroom, I guess I need to find out where my car was made, can one easily tell from the VIN?
