Hello,

Looking for recommendations on car ramps that will give me maximum clearance [preferably 8-10"] under my 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid when doing an oil change. The front end has such a low profile that my old metal ramps would scrape the undercarriage. I was looking on Amazon at the ramps with hydraulic lifts. Taking a closer look it appears I would scrape the undercarriage before the tires reach the top of the ramp. I came upon the perfect hydraulic lift and ramp, manufactured by Black Widow, but they go for around $700. Way too expensive to do an oil change.

 

I bought Rhino Ramps with 16,000 lb capacity and 8.5” lift for motorhome OC’s. Work perfectly for my V as they have a 17* ramp. They interlock for storage and have rubber anti skids which work on the smooth garage floor. Have been using them for 7 years now with no issues.

The ramps with the bottle jacks appear dangerous to me and there is a credible youtube on the subject that calls them unstable.
