Rear wiper fuse

2019 CR-V, anyone know if the rear wiper has its own fuse or is covered by the front wiper fuse? I’m trying to disable the rear wiper or even better how to not have it activated when shifting into reverse when front wipers are on. Afraid of scratching the glass with caked on dirt and salt residue. On my old 2011, I just pulled the fuse.

You might not be able to since that is a safety feature.

I always clean all the glass on my car before driving. I don't feel it's safe for me to drive with any obstructed windows, and I feel it's a good habit. You could try doing that, or if your wiper flips out for blade changing, you could just try leaving it flipped out.

You could also grab a socket wrench and remove the wiper arm.

I thought about cleaning the window everyday but it’s not sustainable. I’m not in complete agreement about it being a safety issue since the backup camera and outside mirrors give me plenty of viewable area. If it’s all on the same fuse I might try to pull the trim panel and unplug the electrical connector.

Just don't turn on wipers until you are only going forward
