Default Sliding Gauge Indicator on Driver Informtiaon Interface

HI,

I just recently leased a new 2022 CR-V EX-L and I'm having difficulty in locating any information regarding the sliding gauge indicator located just above the odometer display. The indicator slides back and forth left to right, but I have no idea what this is for. Anyone know what this is?

Thanks!

welcome to the forum: I do not have a 22 CR-V but when i needed info on my new car, I referred to the owner's manual. covers most items on the vehicle.

Hi acmech52,

I appreciate the quick response; However I've checked through the manual and although there is a picture of it included in the display cluster view, there is no indication of what it is or what it represents. It's not critical, but it's there for a reason and I'm finding it a little frustrating.

Thanks, anyway...

You make this sound as if you use your hand to SLIDE this. Or is it just a series of lights that cascade back and forth as you drive?
Maybe a picture.

Hi grcauto,

Apparently, I just found out that it appears to be a gauge that indicates the average speed since the last trip meter reset. I appreciate your quick response anyway.

Thanks!
