Smelly CR-V
 

Hi, got a stinky problem with our 2021 Honda CR-V EX. I think that something (a mouse most likely, but maybe something larger, like a water buffalo, because it really smells) got up in our ventilation system and died. We have tried lots of stuff - odor bombs, duct and vent cleaner, charcoal, vinegar, frebreeze, with only temporary relief. Pulled the cabin air filter (where there appeared to be signs of a water buffalo nest, maybe just a mouse nest), cleaned all of that out as best could. Still stinks.....especially bad when the car sits parked in the sun. We have looked in every nook and cranny and do not see carcasses.
Getting ready to take this car on a 3000 road trip, but that smell! We lost the new car smell for sure! Please help!

Have you tried Ozium?
Spray it anywhere you suspect has the source of the odor.
