warning lights on 2007 honda crv
 

i have a 2007 honda crv awd and just had some lights pop on the dash while driving home from the lake one is the vsa light and the other is a triangle with ! in the middle of it i pulled over an shut it off i turns back on fine an the lights dissapear but when i put my foot on the brake they come back on and i cannot put the car in gear it locks up i was able to get it in gear but pushing the little button near the shifter with a screw driver and made it home it sat over night and same thing when i turn it on the lights turn off and when i hit the break they turn on and cannot go into gear it locks up i also notice the brake lights dont work either what could be causing these issues im having

IDK. Sounds like there is something not working with the brake switch.
It isn't telling the gear selector to release the hold to allow it to move.
Could be the solenoid in the gear selector? Could be the brake switch?
Just don't have enoughexperiencewith it toknow for sure.
