I have a 1999 Honda crv I was working on a sway bar link in back and seen a bar that goes from the body to the rear end looks as if it goes under some gas line that is in bad shape but I don’t know what it is I tried getting a pictures of but my camera is not good dose any know what it is??

picture a bit difficult to figure out. I would be guessing it may be a rear lower arm (back of undercarriage) stabilizer spring or if located in front of car front spring stabilizer. If you go to HondaAutomotiveParts.com you can find it in their parts manual.

i took anther look the bar goes from the body to the subframe

There is a subframe in the back of the car? I need to look at this 2001 I just bought, lol...

It looks like a basic brace that can easily be fabricated from 1-5/8ths mild steel bar, just press the ends flat and drill a few holes?
