what is the useful life of CR-V?

I am looking for a used - good and safe car and have narrowed my search to CR-V 05 due to its excellent crash test ratings and the side curtain air bags. However, wants to know what kind of useful like one can expect? People say Toyota engine runs upto 200 000 miles, do we have the same case with Cr-V.. If a 2005 CR-V has already done 90 000 miles, how much more life is left on it?

RE: what is the useful life of CR-V?

It really depends on how it's driven and how well it's maintained. My wife has a 1997 CRV, and I've made sure it's been taken care of. Some people say it still looks new and it has 145,000 miles on it. I also have a 1996 Acura with 170,000 mile on it. Both cars run like a top.

Whatever you decide, have your mechanic look over it thoroughly before buying. Good Luck!
