'04 Shadow 1100 starting issues.

'04 Shadow 1100 starting issues.
Problem began with an 8 year old battery and a fried stator. I replaced the battery, stator, voltage regulator.
Starter solenoid relay just clicked. Replaced the relay, and lost power to the system.
I bought a new one thinking I just got a bad relay. Same effect.
I moved on to the starter. Replaced that, nothing changed.
The odd thing is, the only time I get power to the system, is with the old relay.
Not sure what else to check. Any suggestions?
