2003 Shadow Spirit rear tire

Default 2003 Shadow Spirit rear tire
What is the max width for the rear tire that I can install. I have inherited my father's bike when he passed away and I would like to beef up the rear tire because it is too skinny.

Aloha formeising: Welcome to the forum. Re: tire size, depends on rim width. go to http://www.steelthundercc.com/tires_motorcycle.html it will show you sizes of tires to use for rim width. If I find a better source, will update info.
