I was referred to the message boards to find the choke cable for my bike.

I have been waiting 20 years to ride my bike. I had to stop riding when I had my third child...I could ride with two on the bike, but at #3 I had to give it up until they were all grown.

I finally saw the last one off to college and I bought my bike. I rode 6,000 miles the first year and never even left Chicago. However, unbeknownst to me one of my sons was riding, or attempting to ride my bike from time-to-time. When the cold weather hit, he did not know about the choke cable and its function. Now the choke cable is choked, and it has to be replaced.

When the weather is warm, I can start the bike without it, but being that I am no motorcycle mechanic I am afraid to take a real ride not knowing if I will be able to make it back.

Honda no longer makes this cable, and I have searched all of the organized distributors, it is not to be had.

It will be single on one end and dual on the other. The part # is: 17950-MK7-000
